For up-and-coming writer and journalist Jackie (Carly Hughes), Christmas brings an unexpected opportunity: to operate a small-town newspaper in the Alaskan wilderness. Jackie decides to give it a go and moves to the idyllic tiny town. To get the newspaper back on track and fall in love with her new home and her new boss's attractive kid at the same time, she uses a series of Christmas pieces. A Christmas miracle, however, will be required if Jackie is to keep the publication from being taken over by her former boss.
