As a child, Robert Eastwood grew up in a Born Again Christian home where he learned to watch for warning signs and to assume that evil lurks just outside the front door. The first time he goes to school, he discovers to his dismay that no one else believes in a seven-day creation or the second coming of Christ. With his mother's mission to spread the love of Jesus to a desolate mining town and his closest buddy Marcus' introduction to adolescent rebellion, Robert finds himself at the center of a spiritual tug-of-war.
