The Enchanted Cottage is a remake of Sir Arthur Wing Pinero's famous play. It's a love story. When socialite Oliver Bradshaw is disfigured by battle wounds, he conceals his whereabouts from his father, Golden Globe nominee Richard Hatch, in order to convalesce in seclusion at a Cottage he rented for his originally intended honeymoon. Laura Pennington, a shy and plain nurse, is hired to take care of Oliver, who is very sick. The two start to have feelings for each other, and they end up in love. After they get married, they learn that the magic of the cottage can change things.
