Jeffrey Willis, a Brooklyn adolescent who is dissatisfied with his humble surroundings, appreciates the otherworldly qualities of his summer work at the affluent Flamingo Club. He abandons his father in favor of smooth-talking Phil Brody's patronage and is tempted by club member Carla Samson's big bikini charms.
