The Forbidden Kingdom
Unexpectedly, an American kid infatuated with Hong Kong cinema and kung-fu classics discovers the famous weapon of the Chinese sage and warrior, the Monkey King, in a pawnshop in Chinatown, New York. In search of the Monkey King's whereabouts, the intrepid adolescent travels back in time to ancient China with the artifact he just found, joining a band of legendary warriors on a perilous mission.
