The Glass Shield
J.J. is a rookie in the Sheriff's Department and the first black officer at that station. Some of J.J.'s colleagues detest his presence, citing racial tensions. One of the new troopers, the first female officer hired, likewise faces discrimination in an otherwise all-white male workplace. When J.J. discovers police corruption during the murder trial of Teddy Woods, he is forced to make difficult choices and put himself in grave risk for the sake of justice.
