The Davenport House was a well-known and lucrative brothel in the late 1890s, until a young prostitute named Alice committed herself there in the early 1900s. After Alice's death, the brothel became plagued by her ghost, and it was eventually closed down and demolished. More than a century later, the old structure has been beautifully restored and transformed into a home. Despite this, it is still believed to be the spirit of Alice..
