In this low-budget science fiction movie, an alien from a faraway galaxy is sent to take over Earth by "copying" humans and making a race of zombies that look like animated pottery. Enjoy the opening and closing shots of the alien spaceship, which looks like a Christmas tree ornament dancing in space, the faces of the "duplicates" breaking like a cheap vase when they are thrown to the floor, and the "duplicates" being cooked up in the lab in individual coffins. As the movie drags toward the "climactic" showdown between the humans and their fake copies, a beautiful blind woman's kindness softens the alien's heart and makes him question his goals.
