Littlefoot and his friends went looking for a "cold fire stone" that fell from the night sky. Since he is the only one who has seen it, though, nobody really believes him. Littlefoot's uncle Pterano only helps because he thinks the stone has special powers and wants it for himself, but he doesn't tell the others this.
