The Last Ones
The tundra of Lapland. Young miner Rupi spends his time trafficking in illegal drugs, drinking, and playing slot machines. Rupi realizes that he has feelings for his friend's widow after his friend is murdered. It isn't just the mine's owner who wants her there. People degrade and hope becomes transitory, like a shooting star, as the violence turns into a spectacle, the tragedy into a comedy, the tundra into a frozen wasteland. However, there is a glimmer of optimism in our planet.
