The Loner
A child soldier in Iran in the 1980s, Behrouz is haunted by memories of that time. In Los Angeles, he wants to become a real estate agent and live a simple life with his girlfriend, Oksan, who is his best friend. His opium addiction and gambling addiction make it more and more difficult for him to live an ordinary life. He also has a hard time forgetting his past with the Iranian mafia. They soon find themselves caught between the feuding heads of the Iranian and Russian mobs, and they can't get away from each other for very long.
