The Lost Bladesman
With three kingdoms at conflict, ancient China is in a state of flux. General Cao Cao (Jiang Wen), the real power behind the Emperor, enlists the help of Guan Yu, the strongest warrior in the realm, in order to unify the country. [note 1] (Donnie Yen). However, Cao Cao's rival Liu Bei (Alex Fong) has a faithful friend in Guan Yu, so in order to bribe the peerless warrior, Cao Cao holds Qi Lan (Sun Li) hostage. In the wake of his victory over Cao Cao's army, Guan Yu and Qi Lan went off to rejoin Liu Bei. The Emperor's armies have been dispatched to kill Cao Cao because he has become too large a menace to continue living.
