As the title suggests, this book is about a deep friendship that develops between a little kid with Morquio's syndrome and an older guy who is constantly ridiculed because of his size. The film, which is based on the novel Freak the Mighty, portrays the development of trust and friendship between two individuals. Kevin, a bright young man, assists Maxwell in improving his reading skills by providing him with reading materials. Kevin, in exchange, requests that Maxwell accompany him on excursions because he is not permitted to leave the house without permission. Kevin and Maxwell, who are social misfits in their hometown, come to discover that they are similar to one another and embrace that they are "freaks" who will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
