THE PAGAN QUEEN is a controversial film about the end of the old pagan civilization in Central Europe. It is based on the Czech mythology of Libuse, a Slavic queen who reigned over Bohemia in the eighth century. A seer and a visionary, this amazing lady was gifted with supernatural abilities and was able to see into the future, allowing her to help establish the modern city of Prague during a period of cultural upheaval. Her two beautiful sisters, Kazi and Teta, and an army of women under the command of Libuse's best friend, the Amazon Vlasta, helped her establish a woman's government over the tribes of the region throughout the time of her life. Following an attack by raiders and the subsequent division of the peaceful community of farmers into various parties of power-hungry landowners, Libuse is coerced into marriage by her own people.
