The Red Violin
A famous musical instrument's life spans 300 years and ends up on the auction table in modern-day Montréal. With a finish including human blood, Bussotti (Cecchi) created the crimson violin in 1681. The violin takes this legacy to Austria, England, China, and Canada, leaving beauty and sadness in its wake.
