A new production of Kurt Weill's "Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny" by the Catalan group La Fura dels Baus will be shown at the Teatro Real in Madrid. It was written by Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht in the 1930s. It's about capitalism and the way that money is the ultimate crime in a society where money is the most important thing. They tell the story of Mahagonny, a city that is lost in the middle of a desert and run by three thugs.
