The Seminarian
It's a story about Ryan, a gay student who isn't out to anyone. He is in his last semester of seminary studies. After all, Ryan has two classmates who are gay: Gerald and Anthony. Even though his school is against gay people, Ryan has a secret friendship with them. He is also close to his religiously-minded mother, but as things stand, she doesn't know he is gay. Ryan needs to finish a strong theological thesis in order to keep working on his doctoral thesis at the university of his dreams, and he needs to do that. The Divine Gift of Love is Ryan's thesis. He starts a relationship with Bradley, a guy he met on the Internet who can't seem to stay in a relationship for long. Ryan tells Gerald and Anthony about his problems with love. He also finds out that they're having problems of their own. He questions his own views on how God gave him love as well.
