After a mass shooting at a police funeral, the reclusive ex-cop Gannon finds himself accidentally driven out of retirement when he discovers that the perpetrator is a member of the same militia that he joined after leaving the force. Gannon had joined the militia after leaving the force. Gannon isolates his fellow militiamen in a distant lumber factory that serves as their headquarters since he is aware that the shooting could start off a chain reaction of copycat violence across the country. There, he begins a series of arduous interrogations with the intention of unearthing the murderer and handing him up to the authorities in order to stop any additional violence from occurring.
