The Suburbans, a 1980s one-hit wonder band, reunites for a special performance at the wedding of an ex-member. When a young record label talent scout happens to be in the audience at a wedding, he decides to give the now 40-something performers a comeback push. An attempt is made in the film to compare the music industry in the 1990s to that of the simpler 1980s.
