David's world has been turned upside down by an apocalyptic event called The Crisis. He has to use survival skills he learned as a child to get by. David is alone and isolated, so he has set up a tent on the edge of the woods. After a few days, another survivor, Mary, comes out. She right away questions David's tactics, which puts them in the crosshairs of "Those Who Walk In Darkness," creatures that might or might not have caused The Crisis.
