The Treatment
Inspector Nick Cafmeyer seemed to have it all: good looks, intelligence, and a lucrative position. However, a shadow hangs over his life: he has been troubled by the mysterious disappearance of his younger brother, Bjorn, since he was nine years old. Plettinckx, a convicted sex offender, was detained but freed shortly afterwards. Plettinckx resides nearby and delights in pestering Nick. Then, when a terrible case involving a missing nine-year-old is discovered, Nick leads a large search that quickly devolves into a manhunt.
