In the 1930s, a Japanese cult known as The Temple of Hades was tasked with assisting the Japanese military in destroying China. They purchase a large number of young children from impoverished families in order to train them as lethal killing machines and serve the Japanese Empire. One of them is Vajra, who was coerced into fighting for food by his captors, accidently killing his brother. Vajra grew up and became one of the most ruthless killers in the Hades sect few years later. Vajra flees to China and joins the Shaolin Order, where he gets spiritual enlightenment and becomes motivated to aid China in its fight against Japan.
