It's the final day of school, and Grace (a.k.a. "Twinkle Toes"), 14, has been fantasizing about the greatest summer vacation with her best friends, Sporty Shorty and Jordan. However, when Twinkle Toes' father is offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to direct a Broadway musical, Twinkle Toes is whisked away from her small-pond suburbia life and placed in the hustling and bustling of New York City for the summer. Twinkle Toes impresses the show's choreographer and is invited to join the cast alongside the show's adolescent starlet, Olivia Conners, as she learns the ins and outs of New York City and Broadway. However, when Twinkle Toes is given a taste of Broadway stardom, her desire for fame overwhelms her and the show is wrecked! Twinkle Toes must use all of her creativity, intelligence, and dance abilities to assist her new companions and salvage the show in order to make things right!
