Two Evil Eyes
Both of these Edgar Allan Poe-inspired horror pieces take place in and around Pittsburgh. By having her doctor/hypnotist lover persuade her dying husband into signing over millions of dollars to her, a cheating wife is attempting to swindle her husband out of millions of dollars. The elderly man passes away while hypnotized, leaving him in a state of limbo between this world and the next. It's time for the undead to try to join the physical realm, thus the door is opened. In "Black Cat," an alcoholic photographer/artist named Rodd Usher goes insane after killing a stray cat that his live-in lover, Annabelle, brought home from the streets. As soon as one murder occurs, the elaborate cover-ups begin.
