Virgin Territory
The film takes place in Tuscany at the time of the Black Death. As in the Decameron, ten young Florentines seek safety from the plague in the city of Florentine. Their exploits, bawdy conversations, romance, and swordplay take the place of narrating stories for them. There are sultry nuns, Saracen pirates, and a sexy cow among the cast of characters.
