Nuria is a young woman who has a good life, a boyfriend who wants to marry him, and parents who are proud of her. However, she has a problem: she is still married to Jorge. Jorge, a former CEO, lives with his ex-boss and friend Lucas in a house that is on the verge of collapse. Even though they have been separated for two years, Jorge hasn't forgotten about her, and Nuria attempts to have him divorced after she discovers that Jorge has attempted to commit himself by jumping from a window. For this, Nuria consults her parents, Miguel and Patricia, whom she believes Jorge deceived since he thinks they aren't divorced and that Miguel hasn't lost his business because of Jorge's economic inversions, in order to get a divorce that doesn't cause any sorrow for anyone. It is the accumulation of lies that is the true problem, as the situation becomes increasingly dangerously out of control with each passing day.
