When We Were Kings
It's the year 1974. Muhammad Ali is 32 years old and widely regarded as having passed his prime. George Foreman, the heavyweight champion of the world, is ten years younger. Promoter Don King wants to build a name for himself, so he offers each combatants $5 million to fight one other, with King only having to come up with the money if they accept. He finds a ready supporter in Zaire's ruler, Mobutu Sese Suko, and the "Rumble in the Jungle" begins, complete with a musical festival featuring some of America's finest black performers, including James Brown and B.B. King.
