White God
As a result of a new law that favors pure-breed dogs, mixed breeds are now taxed at an extremely high rate. Owners abandon their dogs, resulting in overcrowding in shelters. Lili, a 13-year-old girl, does her best to save her dog Hagen, but her father eventually lets him go. Both Hagen and his lovely master are on the prowl until Lili loses hope. As he struggles to make ends meet, homeless Hagen comes to discover that not everyone is a dog's best buddy. Hagen joins a group of wandering dogs, but is quickly captured and taken to the pound. Inside, the dogs have little hope and will grasp any opportunity to flee and wage war against humans. This time, they're not playing around. Unless Lili intervenes, this unanticipated conflict between humans and dogs will continue.
