A maturing tale embeded in 1975 working-class Brooklyn, in which two adolescent siblings dealing with their violent daddy and their well-meaning yet inadequate mother are caught up in a life of minor criminal activity. Older brother Danny cooks up a daring scheme to swipe sufficient cash for both to run away, timed around the chaos of an upcoming Rolling Stones performance.
