White Settlers
Ed and Sarah, a young urban couple, are relocating from London to a remote border Scottish farmhouse, where they plan to begin a new life. These new owners are eager to begin work on the 19th-century Castle Farm after falling in love with it and seeing its potential as a fixer-upper. The first night they spend together, Sarah reports hearing noises in the darkness, but Ed dismisses her claims, claiming it's only her imagination. She forces Ed to look into it because of her persistent anxiety that they are not the only ones in the house. A group of masked intruders greets her as she investigates her husband's absence after a frighteningly long time. A terrible cat-and-mouse game ensues with the unidentified invaders as she urgently seeks for Ed. It remains to be seen what the two new arrivals will be subjected to.
