WUSA
Rheinhardt, a cynical vagrant, manages to land a position as an announcer for the right-wing radio station WUSA in New Orleans. Even when he disagrees with the editorial stance that WUSA takes, Rheinhardt is prepared to repeat it on the air and echo it like a robot. Rheinhardt's cynical detachment is called into question by a lady friend named Geraldine as well as by Rainey, a wounded idealist who lives next door and discovers the nefarious, underlying goal of WUSA. And when things begin to spiral out of control, even Rheinhardt discovers that he needs to take a stance in order to protect himself and others.
