In 2006, the show won the Emmy for Best Daytime Service Show. On the show, they often make new versions of classic dishes, some of which usually take a long time to cook. Ray tries to make meals that take less than 30 minutes to make. Ray has also done two specials called Thanksgiving in 60, which are about making a Thanksgiving dinner in an hour. Every episode starts with Ray saying "Hi, I'm Rachael Ray, and I make meals that can be made in 30 minutes. So, in the time it takes you to watch this show, I'll have made a delicious and healthy meal from start to finish."
