In convenience stores and supermarkets all around Japan, a titanic war takes place every day: the fight for bento boxes sold at a discount. As soon as the discount stickers are applied, gluttonous combatants begin throwing fists in a fight to the death to determine who gets to take home the discounted food. After joining the Half-Priced Food Lovers Club, a young high school student by the name of Sato who is struggling financially reveals himself to be a rising talent in the realm of insane food fights. However, does he possess the necessary skills to become the master of clearance cuisine? The filmmaker of "Black Cat" has created a version of "The Hunger Games" that is considerably different from the original. You have entered the realm of Ben-To, where chopsticks can kill, the grocery store is a battlefield, and there is nothing more delectable than a deep-fried victory.
