Bob is a popular situation comedy that first aired on CBS in the United States on September18, 1992 and continued on there until December27, 1993. It was the third sitcom starring vehicle for Bob Newhart, and it turned out to be a lot less popular than The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart, which were his prior appearances with the network. The show's creative writing was handled by a team consisting of Bill Steinkellner, Cheri Steinkellner, and Phoef Sutton. The television show was developed and produced by Paramount Television. On April3,2012, each of the 33 episodes was made available on DVD.
