Actor/adventurer Jack Maxwell learned a lot while working in South Boston bars, and one lesson stuck with him: Share a few drinks with a stranger, and the whole world opens up. Those encounters sparked the film "Booze Traveler," which follows Maxwell throughout the world in search of answers to his questions about what people drink, why they drink it, and the stories it inspires. Maxwell travels to Armenia, Belize, Lithuania, Mongolia, Nepal, and other countries to learn about their intoxicating customs, meet residents, participate in activities, and even help with the alcohol-making process. In each location, he finds a unique drink, makes friends, and tells stories.
