Canadian cartoon comedy Carl2 investigates what might happen if a teen had a clone. Cartoon combines biology with teenage life. Carl Crashman,14, is just skilled at laziness. After a rough day and being tired of doing things he hated, he was blogging online and complaining about his life when he accidentally ordered a clone from a spam e-mail using his fingerprint, a yearbook photo, and a scabby band-aid. Carl is shocked when an online cloning company sends him an exact clone of himself in a box. Carl dubs him C2. Even though C2 looks, talks, and walks like Carl, he's more ambitious, hardworking, and charming, to Carl's benefit. Since C2 arrived, Carl has lazier. Carl's wishes are routinely ignored by C2. Carl keeps C2 a secret from everyone but Jamie James. The theme song depicts C2 visiting Carl's residence. Two versions of the theme tune have distinct openings and lyrics. In Season2, the opening scene shows how C2 was cloned.
