Chances ran from 1991 to 1992. It's about a middle-class family who wins $3 million in the lotto. The Nine Network aired two one-hour programs per week. John Sheerin and Brenda Addie played Dan and Barbara Taylor, Jeremy Sims played their naughty kid Alex, Deborah Kennedy played Dan's sister Connie Reynolds, Tim Robertson played his brother Jack, Anne Grigg played his wife Sarah, and Michael Caton played their neighbor Bill Anderson. To assure the show's success, Channel Nine called for naked scenes and risqué features. Initial press centered on the sex theme, and Chances was recognized for it.
