Ctrl
NBC's comedy web series Ctrl is based in the United States. It is the first major television network to debut a stand-alone web series. It stars Tony Hale as a self-conscious, office-bound nerd who discovers he can alter the past. The short film Ctrl Z by Robert Kirbyson, winner of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, is adapted and expanded in this feature film. From the short film Ctrl Z, which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival in2008, SXM identified the potential for CTRL. SXM teamed up with NBC's digital studio to produce the online series, which is now available on the NBC website. Season 2 is now being developed by SXM with the help of Yahoo and a private investor after the digital studio was closed by NBC in 2011. The episodes have been removed from the NBC website as of early2012, but they can still be found on Hulu.
