Cupcake Wars
Cupcake Wars is a reality-based competition show that has been shown on the Food Network since June2010, and it is hosted by Justin Willman. The show is based on the contestants' ability to create original and professional-looking cupcakes. It begins with four competitors, who are eliminated one at a time over the course of three rounds, just like the show Chopped, which was a huge hit for the network. The time slot for the show was on Tuesdays at 8:00 pm Eastern Standard Time during the first three seasons, but at the start of the fourth season, it moved to Sundays at the same time. In addition, the show challenges its contestants to construct cupcakes using unique ingredients, with the winner team receiving $10,000 for their efforts. There is one chef and one sous-chef on each of the teams. On March3,2013, Cupcake Wars began airing the eighth season of the competition.
