Cyberchase is a children's television show aimed towards children aged 7 to 13. The series is set in Cyberspace, a virtual environment, and follows Jackie, Inez, and Matt as they utilize math and problem-solving skills to save Cyberspace and its leader, Motherboard, from the enemy The Hacker. Cyberchase has garnered mostly excellent feedback and has won several accolades. The first five seasons were produced by Thirteen/WNET New York and Nelvana, while seasons six through eight were produced by Thirteen in collaboration with Title Entertainment, Inc. and WNET.ORG. In the United States, the show airs on PBS Kids GO! and Public Broadcasting Service. The Cyberchase website has made all episodes available for free. Cyberchase has been on hiatus since July2010, although it was reported in November that it will be restored and begin broadcasting new episodes with its 9th season. Seasons1-5, as well as other PBS Kids Go series, were just released on Netflix. Cyberchase was renewed for a ninth season in April 2013 and will premiere on November4,2013, according to the show's official Facebook page.
