Dennis the Menace is an American animated television series created by DHX Media and based on the Hank Ketcham comic strip. Dennis the Menace, a blond boy with a cowlick and a mischievous demeanor, gets into scrapes and adventures with Ruff, Joey, Margaret, Gina, Tommy, PeeBee, and Jay. Dennis is a rambunctious, angel-faced little devil who is constantly getting himself into mischief and teasing his helpless next-door neighbor, Mr. Wilson. Dennis gets himself into all sorts of crazy situations, yet he always manages to save the day. The series was first shown in syndication in the United States, and was syndicated by The Program Exchange. CBS broadcasted the second season on Saturday mornings. Three six or seven minute shorts make up each half-hour show. General Mills was the show's sponsor.
