Dharma & Greg was an American sitcom that aired from September 24, 1997, until April 30, 2002. A couple who got married on their first date despite being polar opposites is played by Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson in the film. The series is co-produced by Chuck Lorre Productions, More-Medavoy Productions, and 4 to 6 Foot Productions in conjunction with 20th Century Fox Television for ABC. Composer Dennis C. Brown created the show's theme tune, which he also performed. A lot of the humor in the show was inspired by the so-called "fish out of water" scenarios that occur when people from different cultures come together. In addition to six Emmy Award nominations and six Satellite Award nominations, the show received eight Golden Globe nominations. She won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in 1999.
