Doraemon
Nobita Nobi is so misfortunate that his descendants in the 22nd century are still penniless as a result of his foolishness in the 20th century. In an effort to improve their social standing, their servant, a robotic cat named Doraemon, travels back in time to instruct Nobita on the correct road to wealth. Unfortunately, Doraemon, a malfunctioning robot that the family obtained by accident but decided to retain, is in a similar situation to Nobita. The robot takes Nobita on numerous adventures, and while Nobita's life is clearly more entertaining with the robot cat from the future, it is debatable if it is better in the manner that Doraemon intended.
