Doug
Doug is a Jim Jinkins/Jumbo Pictures animated sitcom. The show's premise revolves around Douglas "Doug" Funnie's strange and inventive antics in Bluffington, Virginia. Puppy love, bullying, and hearsay are lampooned. Doug's attempts to date Patti Mayonnaise are a recurring theme. Doug originally aired on Nickelodeon. It premiered on August 11, 1991, concurrently with Rugrats and The Ren & Stimpy Show, and ended on January 2, 1994. Following Disney's 1996 acquisition of Jumbo Pictures, the series aired on ABC's Disney's One Saturday Morning block. The second season debuted on September 7, 1996, and finished on June 26, 1999. In 2011, Nickelodeon's The '90s Are All That block syndicated the series.
