The A&E reality television series Duck Dynasty is an American production. It depicts the lives of the Robertson family, who grew affluent as a result of their family-run business, Duck Commander, which manufactures equipment for duck hunters, most notably the Duck Commander call. Phil and Si Robertson, together with Jase, Willie, and Jep, sons of Phil, are famed for their lengthy beards. Phil Robertson spent 25 years crafting duck calls from Louisiana cedar trees in a family shed, where the business was founded. His son Willie is the current CEO of the business. The family previously appeared on the Outdoor Channel series Benelli Presents Duck Commander and its spinoff Buck Commander. The fourth season opener was the most-watched nonfiction cable telecast ever, with 11.8 million viewers.
