People said that the show's ratings went up a lot when Harvey was in charge. When John O'Hurley was the host, the ratings for Family Feud were said to have gone up by 40 percent from the year before. During the 2011–12 season, the quickly growing game show had an average rating of 4.0 and was the fifth highest rated show in all of syndication. As of the 2012–13 season, Family Feud was consistently the second most popular show on daytime television. In 2013, TV Guide put it at number three on a list of the 60 best game shows of all time.
