Heartstrings
This is a narrative about Lee Sin, a high school student who is famous for his band, "The Stupid," and Lee Gyo Won, a student who is passionate to Korean folk music. When Lee Sin was a child, his father, Lee Hyun Soo, was an accomplished guitarist, but he is now on the edge of death due to a long-standing addiction to drugs. To see his granddaughter, Lee Gyo Won's grandpa Lee Dong-jin, become a star in the world of traditional music, Lee Dong-jin has made it his life's work to see that happen. Modern music, he says, has strayed from tradition and should be avoided at all costs. The high school organizes a competition called "The 100th Year Anniversary" in which students can demonstrate their talents.
