Ink
Ink is a 1996-1997 CBS sitcom starring real-life spouses Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen as newspaper journalists, supposedly inspired by the film His Girl Friday. Danson and Steenburgen additionally produced the show. Due to lower-than-expected ratings, the show was terminated after one season. Currently, Disney-ABC Domestic Television holds the distribution rights to the series. The pilot episode of the show was significantly altered and reshot from its initial form. The filming of Ink took place on the soundstages of CBS Studio City in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles. Outdoor scenes were typically filmed on the studio's modest backlot streets.
