Land of the Giants is an American science fiction television program that is one hour long and airs on television in the United States. Irwin Allen was the mind behind the show and also served as the producer. The fourth installment of the science fiction television series created by Allen was titled Land of the Giants. ABC was the network that broadcast the show, and 20th Century Fox Television was the company that distributed it. The show consisted of a total of 51 episodes and was filmed in color throughout its entirety. Gary Conway and Don Marshall were two of the show's stars. Based on the television series, author Murray Leinster also published three novels in 1968 and 1969 under the same name.
