Let's Stay Together is a romantic comedy television series that originated in the United States and was created by Jacque Edmonds Cofer. On January 11, 2011, it was broadcast for the first time on BET. The title of the series is a reference to a landmark song released by Al Green in 1972 under the same name. The series opener got 4.4 million viewers. Malinda Williams, who is known for her role as Stacy on Soul Food, was at first considered for the role of Stacy. She was replaced by Nadine Ellis for reasons that have not been made public. BET made the announcement that the series would be continued for a second season on April 20, 2013, and it aired its first 22 episodes of that season beginning in January 2012. As a result of her pregnancy, Erica Hubbard made only a few appearances during the second season of the show.
